4/16/20 Update:

Jaguar Gymnastics Families,

We wanted to provide the latest update amidst this COVID-19 situation.  This week, our board made the decision to cancel the remainder of the spring session which was scheduled to end on May 28th.  Even if the school allowed some activities to resume after the stay at home order ceased, it’s pretty apparent that there will still be social distancing recommendations in place to some extent for the foreseeable future.  It was a difficult decision to make, but we feel it is best for our organization and our families at this time.  Some evenings we easily have 50 kids in the gym at one time, in addition to parents and siblings watching their gymnast in class.  We would have to greatly reduce our class numbers and request spectators to not watch class in order to abide by any social distancing guidelines a few weeks from now.  It’s not an ideal situation to completely cancel the remainder of our session, but we feel it’s the smartest decision at this moment.

The possibility of holding our summer session is unknown at this time.  We likely won’t have any idea on that until later in May as we see what the state’s recommendation is on social distancing, and what the school district will allow for activities.  That being said, if we do have a summer session, the class schedule will likely be slimmed down a bit to allow for less bodies in the gym at one time while our world continues to work through the virus.

Next Steps: Starting next week, we will be applying a credit to your account for classes from March 16 through May 28th.  (As a reminder, there were no classes scheduled the week of spring break (March 23-27), nor was there class scheduled on Memorial Day.)  Please note that we have one individual completing all of these credits and each account has to be manually touched.  It will take a while to get through all of our families.  You will receive an email confirmation with the amount your account has been credited once it has been completed.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support of Jaguar Gymnastics.  We appreciate the kind emails we have received during closure and hearing how much your children miss their gymnastics class.  We look forward to seeing you again in the summer or fall session.  We will post updates on our Facebook page and website as they are available.

Thank you,

Jaguar Gymnastics
